Halloween was fun and now it is November and i'm glad.:)
Right after I posted last, I went to class and Tim sent me a text, saying that him and the kids went to Party City and they found Nolan a Superman costume. I was sorta jealous, but when I got home he was standing next to his fire truck with the cape on and it was adorable. So, the day of, I got the kids ready while Tim was at work, went to the American Legion party, the fire house, and the Toys R Us parade. We all came home and took a nap before going to trunk or treat and to Grandma's house at 6pm. What a big day for such little people. lol. Stella was a Scary Fairy, Caleb was a fireman, and Nolan was the super baby. I'll post pics as soon as I can!

I'm Super Excited
I was talking to Ashley this morning, and she was stressing about Halloween and how it is THIS Saturday, and I thought, WOW! October has flown by for me, and luckily, I have Stella and Caleb's costumes all ready. My Dad ordered the boys matching fireman costumes, but when they came in, Nolan's outfit looked like it would fit Caleb. Stella is all hyped up to be a Scary Fairy, so I guess it's two down and one to go:)

The Birthday Boy
Nolan turned one on Saturday, October 17th. I invited Mom and Dad and the Aunties and Uncles, Ashley with Austin and Katie, and Roxann with Samantha and Bradley. It was a good turnout and I think everyone had a good time( I did!) We had it at home, outside in the backyard:) All of the kids were running loose, so it was perfect with the pizza, cake, and all the mess!

Monkeyfied
Nolan climbs on EVERYTHING! AHHHH! He pushes the big kid's chairs up to the counter in the kitchen, and then climbs on top to watch me do dishes....SCARY. Stella and Caleb did not do this when they were little like Nolan. He is definatey part monkey or something.

It's the little things
Little things like Caleb helping me cook with his Dora apron on, Nolan learning how to climb out of his highchair, or Stella tucking the hair behind my ear because she said my ear was, "hot", are the things that make for a good day :)

Reading Up On Things
So, this book i've been reading by Dr. Laura is pretty good. In Praise Of Stay At Home Moms. She has me totally believing everything i'm reading, and I think next time I go to the library I will look up a couple of her other books.

Staying Home
Well, Im finally what i've been trying to be fora couple years now.......a stay at home mom! I love it because I feel more in tune to the needs of the kids, and I SWEAR Nolan is more attached than the other babies were:) There are definately some long days and it IS harder on my patience than being at work full time but, for the most part I feel that home is where I need to be.
